Joe Mount is a sound designer, dialogue editor and re-recording mixer with over 20 years experience in the Amsterdam, London and Sydney advertising and film audio post production industries.
After 14 years at the world renowned Wave Studios London, where he rose through the ranks to Senior Sound Designer, Joe has been freelance and based in Sydney, Australia since 2017.
Career highlights include sound effects editing for Jonathan Glazer’s Best Sound Oscar winning The Zone of Interest, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things and Brendan Bellomo’s Porcelain War, dialogue editing for Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later and Yorgos Lanthimos’ Kinds of Kindness, re-recording mixing for Bonnie Moir’s AACTA Best Sound nominated TV series Exposure, and sound design for D&AD Sound Design Graphite Pencil winning Skoka ‘Giggle’, and D&AD Sound Design Wood Pencil winning Prometheus: Transmission and Audi: Spider.
